In my wildest dreams I never would have thought that I'd end up a baker. Then, I began baking…

Why bake? Two words: my grandma!

I have fond memories of growing up in the kitchen with my grandma… baking treats and singing big band tunes.

My grandma and I had a very close relationship. She taught me a lot about passion, love, and life. So when I think of baking, I think of comfort. My grandma was comfort to me and baking allows me to feel close to her.

Now that I think about it, I’ve always been a baker. I love hosting holiday gatherings and creating scrumptious baked goods. I find joy in bringing baked goods to social gatherings. And I truly believe that a delicious treat makes a lovely housewarming gift.

But… it wasn’t until 2012 that I realized just how big a part of my life baking had become. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized that opening a boutique bakery was the perfect solution to fulfilling my dreams.

While I have only taken a few professional pastry classes, and have read some books on the science of baking, it hasn’t stopped me from creating my own signature recipes and bringing a smile to the faces of those who've tasted my treats.

Whether it is your childhood, your first date, or your 25th wedding anniversary, it is my goal to create desserts that create and bring back beautiful memories.
